It is claimed that a UFO crashed in the Kalahari in 1969.Others say it was in the year 1953.

"During Eisenhower's first year in office 1953, at least 10 more crashed alien disks were recovered along with 26 dead and 4 living aliens. Of these 10 downed craft, 4 were found in Arizona, 2 in Texas, one in New Mexico, one in Louisiana, one in Montana, and one in South Africa. There were hundreds of disks sightings reported in that year."

It is claimed that crashed UFO's were recovered in the past and taken to highly secret places.

"Area 51" in the Nevada desert is one of those places where, it is said, recovered UFO's and aliens are being kept.

Area 51, also known as Groom Lake, is a secret military facility about 90 miles north of Las Vegas. The number refers to a 6-by-10-mile block of land, at the center of which is a large air base the government will not discuss.

The site was selected in the mid-1950s for testing of the U-2 spyplane, due to its remoteness, proximity to existing facilities and presence of a dry lake bed for landings. Groom Lake is America's traditional testing ground for "black budget" aircraft before they are publicly acknowledged. The facility and surrounding areas are also associated with UFO and conspiracy stories.

A number of alleged UFO crashes have occured in different countries.The most wellknown and controversial of these crashes is the Roswell incident.In 1947 W ( Mac) Brazel saw an object crash.

The crash site was 75 miles north west of Roswell on a range near Corona, New Mexico.The debris of this object, believed to be a UFO, was recovered by the US military.To date Ufologists, UFO enthusiasts and eyewitnesses believe that the object was a UFO.The US military on the other hand maintains it was not a UFO but a highly secret weather balloon.
