The Schilthorn is a 2,970 metre high summit in the Bernese Alps, Switzerland above Mürren providing some of Switzerland's most panoramic views and best skiing. It has a revolving restaurant, named Piz Gloria, the first revolving restaurant in the world, at the summit, where many of the James Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) scenes were filmed. So if your in the interlarken area, the schilthorn is somthing you can not miss!. the views are out of this world, and are breathtaking. Ascending to Mt Schilthorn (2970m) takes about 30 minutes by cable car - Gimmelwald to Murren to Birg, and finally Birg to Piz Gloria.
